Anyone Else Struggling With Essays?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone else finds writing essays more stressful than studying for exams because I have been feeling completely stuck lately. I understand the topics in class, but whenever I sit down to write, I end up rewriting the same paragraphs over and over again. Last week I was having coffee with a classmate after receiving disappointing feedback on an essay, and while we were both complaining about deadlines, I jokingly said that people who become
essay writers must have some kind of superpower because I could barely organize my thoughts into a proper argument. We both laughed, but I went home feeling frustrated and wondering why something that seems so simple for others feels so difficult for me. Has anyone else gone through this and eventually found a way to become more confident with essay writing?
