Looking at a used Jeep Wrangler in Ras Al Khor – should I get it inspected first?
I've been searching for a clean 2018 Wrangler for weeks and finally found one that looks decent cosmetically, but something feels off – the seller is really pushy and the service history is incomplete. I've heard horror stories about flooded Jeeps or ones with hidden frame damage, so I'm thinking I should get a proper pre-purchase inspection before handing over any cash. A friend told me to See Details about what a good inspection covers, especially for off-road vehicles, because regular mechanics might miss things like axle seal leaks or transfer case issues. Has anyone here bought a used Wrangler in Dubai or Sharjah and skipped the inspection, then regretted it? I don't want to waste money if the car is clean, but I also don't want to end up with a money pit. Any advice on what to look for specifically on a JK or JL generation would be great.
